The 48th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC 48) will convene from 1-5 October 2018, in Incheon, Republic of Korea.

The IPCC is currently in its sixth assessment cycle. During this cycle, the Panel will produce the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6), a Methodology Report to refine the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories, and three special reports: the Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C (SR15); the Special Report on Climate Change and Land (SRCCL); and the Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC).
